Graphics & Finishing
At PSG, we can duplicate and/or simulate any finish that can be achieved in production, while remaining within a prototype quantity. From a simple priming to a high-gloss finish, our painters have the experience to make your models look remarkable.
  • Custom color mixing and painting (opaque or metallic/pearl)
  • Top coat/texture options (gloss, semi-gloss, satin, soft touch, pearl)
  • Faux finishes

PAD Printing

Pad printing is a method of printing that allows for the transfer of 2D images onto 3D objects. Typically consisting of silicone rubber, the system operates by using three dimensional objects (pads) which pick up ink from a printing plate and transfer it onto the intended part. The pads vary in shape and durometer, depending on the intended application. Lead Time 2-5 days

  • Concave/convex
  • Textured
  • Cylindrical, spherical, flat
  • Compound angles
  • Medical devices
  • Decorative designs/graphics
  • Automotive parts
  • Identification labels and serial numbers for various applications

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is a process that uses a CNC-controlled laser beam to transfer complex designs onto a variety of materials. The system is guided by grayscale images (raster) which are interpreted by the system as areas to engrave as well as which level of power to provide the laser. With a resolution of up to 600 DPI, the laser can engrave a wide range of imagery from logos and text to high-resolution photos.

  • 300 to 600 DPI
  • Table Size: 50″ x 50″
  • Plastics: Acrylic, Mylar, PETG, Polyester, Plexiglass, Vinyl
  • Metals: Aluminum, Anodized Aluminum, Brass, Mild Steel, Shimstock, Stainless Steel, Titanium
  • Other: Corian, Foam, Glass, Granite, Leather, Marble, Rubber, Wood
